The closest major airports to Andover are Boston's Logan International Airport (BOS) and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) in New Hampshire. Nearby Lawrence Municipal Airport does not serve major carriers.

Andover features many walking trails, spanning approximately 1,100 acres of reservation land maintained by AVIS, one of the oldest conservation societies in the United States.
