Ballyragget (Irish: Béal Atha Raghad meaning Mouth of Ragget's Ford) is a town in north County Kilkenny. It has a population of 1,450. The town is beside the river Nore.
It is named after Richard Le Ragget, a Norman who owned the land around the town in the 13th century.
