Baveno is a quaint town of 4,500 residents near Stresa on the shore of the Borromean Bay, a western arm of Lake Maggiore, in Piedmont, Italy.
Navigazione Laghi provides ferry services to the Borromean Islands (Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori and Isola Madre). There are also water taxis – these are particularly useful after ferry hours, for example, if going or returning from dinner at a restaurant on Isola dei Pescatori or Isola Bella.
