Bra is a town in Piedmont. It is a culinary destination, home to the Slow Food movement and the University of Gastronomic Sciences, so you are guaranteed to eat and drink well. Every other year, in September the town also hosts Cheese, a large international cheese festival.
Get in
For many, the easiest way to get in is by train from Asti. If you are already in Turin, you can take a direct train to Bra.
Get around
As it is a rather small town, one can explore Bra by foot.

While not in Bra, some of Italy's best wine producers are located nearby. It is a good starting point to explore the Langhe region known worldwide for its red wines.

The specialities include the similarly named sausage, salsiccia di Bra, and cheese, formaggio di Bra.
