Broke

The surrounding area, known as Broke-Fordwich, is home to other small communities including Bulga, Fordwich and Milbrodale. Like other areas within the Hunter Valley, Broke is home to numerous vineyards, and is rapidly developing an excellent reputation as a grape-growing region.

There are a slew of wineries to visit, but keep in mind that many are only open on the weekends and some are only open by appointment. If this is the case, be sure to call ahead to confirm a visit so you don't miss out.
