Tambo is not built to face the Tambo River, but rather a central nature strip between the service road and the highway. This is quite pretty park, with gardens and visitor information boards.
- Tambo River. You can walk over the highway bridge or the railtrail bridge over the river. The Tambo is not navigable to this point, but you can cool off a little in it.
Buy
- Berry farm. Around 3km from town on the Omeo road, there is a berry farm, selling raspberries, blackberries and boysenberries for around $4 a punnet. Season Dec-Feb.
