Bryne is the largest city in the Jæren region. It houses the administrative center for the Time municipality. Bryne is a city in a agriculture dominated area and have some of its agricultural roots intact, while providing the perks of a small city. Towns further south, such as Nærbø, Varhaug and Vigrestad are less diluted with people without agricultural background, typically from the Stavanger region, and may provide a more authentic insight to the original mindset, language and behavior of the area.
