Clun (Welsh: Colunwy) is a small town in Shropshire.Understand
Clun is the smallest town in Shropshire with a population of less than 1000. It is situated on the River Clun and is usually quite quiet, except for when the Green Man Festival is held in May and the Clun Carnival is held in August.

Do
- Visit the town's museum in the old town hall (on the Square).
- Pop into one of the two pubs and sample the local ales.
- Walk around the castle ruins. On the May bank holiday there is a large fair held in the grounds.
- Drive through the River Clun at Waterloo Ford (all vehicles can now do this).

There are a handful of shops including a Costcutters convenience store, a post office and two butchers in the town. There is also a car sales garage - the Clun Garage.

Cross the ancient (and narrow) Clun Bridge and head up the B road for Anchor - the most westerly place in Shropshire and source of the River Clun.
