Daugai is a town in Alytus district in Lithuania. It lies on the bank of the lake of Daugai, thus becoming a holiday resort, and has approximately 1,450 inhabitants.

Church of Divine Providence
address: Savanorių gatvė 17It is a romantic church with Gothic elements, built in 1862, architect – Tomas Tišeckis. One of the most important churches of the Daugai parish. Jewish CemeteryThis mysterious place is in the grove nearby the plage with the same name (alternatively Žydkapės). Daugai used to be a Jewish city, but in the World War II Nazis killed almost all Jewish inhabitants and they were buried on this cemetery. There are stones with names and strange paths. It stretches over the whole peninsula in the lake of Daugai. It's not fenced, so you can visit cemetery any time you want. If you like extreme, visit it at night.
