Fort McKay (formerly Fort MacKay) is a small First Nations (Aboriginal) village in eastern Alberta with a population 740 in 2016. Like Fort McMurray 60 km to the south, the hamlet of Fort MacKay is part of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
