The Girona Pyrenees (Pirineu de Girona) is a mountainous region in Girona, Catalonia, in the northeast of Spain, which is full of nature and sports resorts.

Skiing
Skiing is the main activity of the Girona pyrenees. Big skiing resorts of La Molina and La Masella are near Alp. Smaller resorts are Vall de Núria in Queralbs and Vallter 2000 in Setcases.The high season goes from christmas holidays to mid of march, including all weekends of March and easter holidays.

The Girona Pyrenees region has some Michelin-starred restaurants such as les Cols (2 stars) and Ca l'Enric (1 star) in Olot and Fonda Xesc (1 star) in Combrèn. Most restaurants in this touristic region serve traditional Catalan cuisine.
