Haltwhistle station has trains that run to and from Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham and Carlisle.

By bus

Regular buses run to and from Newcastle upon Tyne and Hexham. Friendly, helpful drivers.
Also a place to catch the bus to Once Brewed and other spots along Hadrian's Wall.

All the shops and pubs are situated on the High Street, no more than 2 minutes walk apart, with the railway station and bus stop at one end.
