During long weekends these buses run full and getting a ticket can be a bit of a problem unless you book them in advance. KSRTC buses are comfortable especially the Rajahamsa (Luxury) buses. Indian National Highway 169 (NH-169) passes through this village connecting to Shringeri , Karkala, Moodabidre ( Moodabidri ), Mangaluru and Shivamogga.
