Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) ("Hartsfield," "ATL," or just "the airport" to locals), is located about 8 miles south of downtown Atlanta. Hartsfield–Jackson is Delta Air Lines' main hub and headquarters as well as a focus city for Southwest Airlines, and has been the world's busiest airport by passenger traffic and aircraft movements since 1998.
