Get in
Holmestrand is southwest of Oslo, approximately 1 hour away. You can arrive via bus which is comfortable and cheap. The train is slower and is under construction until 2015 so you may have to take a train and then switch to a bus if you take the train.
If you arrive via car you can take E18 Hwy and exit on 313 which is the old main Rd.

Eat
There are a few (less than 5) restaurants in the city center. Most of the residents eat at home or travel to nearby Tonsberg for a variety of cuisine.
