NagyivánThe 'Puszta'. The village lies at the edge of the Hortobágy National Park (a part of the World Heritage list. The village is surrounded on three sides by the National Park. There is the Kunkápolnás marsh (strictly protected 3,000 hectares area, can be visited only with permission, several rare plant and animal species live there. Near to the village border is several mound (kunhalom). One of them, the Bürok mound with its 104.8 m the highest point of elevation of the Hortobágy.
