Kalajoki

The town of Kalajoki is located where Kalajoki river flows into the Bay of Bothnia and is best known for its sand dunes, Hiekkasärkät. Its name translates to Fish River.

As Kalajoki is a bit off the beaten track, the best way to get in is by car.
