Do
Visit Kolar Gold Fields ( KGF ) now an abandoned gold mine. There are many small towns within KGF like Oorugam, Robertsonpet, Andersonpet and Champion reef. We can see cyanide mountain, Edgar Shaft, abandoned mining equipment, machinery at these places. Also there is National Institute of Rock Mechanics (NIRM) at Champion reef.
