Kurgan Oblast (Russian: Курга́нская о́бласть koor-GAHN-skuh-yuh OH-blust') is a region in Russia's Urals region. Kurgan Oblast borders Tyumen Oblast to the northeast, Kazakhstan to the southeast, Chelyabinsk Oblast to the southwest and Sverdlovsk Oblast to the northwest.Cities
