The area was established as National Park in 1966.Landscape
The Llogara National Park is centered on the Ceraunian Mountains along the Albanian Riviera, spanning a surface area of 1,010 ha (10.1 km²). Its terrain includes large alpine meadows, vertical rock faces, precipices and dense forests. It offers worth-seeing panoramic views over the Ionian sea and the Greek island Corfu.Flora and fauna

Get in
By bus
Mini-buses going from Tiranë or Vlorë to Dhërmi, Himarë or Sarandë will drop you in the touristic village. You can also take the Llogara furgon departing from Vlorë.
Transportation going from Vlorë to Llogara National Park and the South departs early in the morning. Transportation from the South going to Llogara National Park and the North passes at 3.30pm and 5 pm.
By car
The park is easy to reached by car as it lies along road SH8 which goes from Fier to Saranda.
Do
There are different hiking trails departing from Llogara National Park. The shortest one is a 4-hour hike (back and forth). 2-day hikes are also possible.

Along the road, people may find stalls where they can buy local honey and local tea plants.
