Lošinj is an island in the Kvarner region of Croatia with a surface area of 128,5 km 2 and about 10,000 inhabitants.The island has around 2600 hours of sunshine a year. For this reason the island has become a popular summer destination for Slovenian, German and Italian tourists.

Osorski mostThe bridge is opened every day at 9:00 and 17:00 to let the boats through.
Yet another moveable bridge is located at the only road which connects Mali Lošinj and Veli Lošinj with the northern part of the island and hence the island of Cres.
