Mana Pools National Park
Mana Pools National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Zimbabwe.
The wildlife conservation area is one of the "wildest" national park areas in Southern Africa and regarded as one of the best places to view wildlife with big populations of hippopotamuses, crocodiles, elephants and buffalo.
Flora and fauna
Mana Pools are near the northernmost point of Zimbabwe, close to the Zambia border, and they are about north of the Harare-Lusaka highway. The closest towns are Chirundu on the Zambian side and Kariba.
