Tondo is home to most of the outstanding Chinese schools in Manila. Since Tondo is near Binondo, many Filipino-Chinese roam around this area, and also have different kinds of businesses situated in this area. Food tripping in this area would be a great idea due to the abundant number of Chinese food stalls/restaurants lying in this area.Understand
Tondo's history extends to the arrival of the Spanish in the Philippines and is known as one of the thriving Kingdoms back then pre-colonial Philippines. The Father of the Philippine Independence Movement, Andres Bonifacio, was born here. In modern times, it has gained its image as the center of urban blight and gang crime.
