Minab

Minab is a large city, 25 km from the Gulf of Oman, and not far from Bandar Abbas. Its economy is known for fishing, agriculture and handicrafts. The population is mainly Shi'a but also has a Sunni minority
livelihood in minab is still traditional , fishing ways , wearing , colors , ... women are the most active women in hormozgan by working and earning money in producing handicrafts

The Road 91 passes through Minab to Bandar Abbas.

Unlike the bazaars in big cities which tend to have a male dominant environment, here in Minab, women were taking the lead. Although dressed up quite conservative to what we are used to and hidden behind colourful masks, they were assertive and showed no intimidation in working alongside men.

There is a bazaar in Minab called Peyshaambe Bazaar, a traditional market held every Thursday.Unlike the bazaars in big cities which tend to have a male dominant environment, here in Minab, women were taking the lead. Minab is well known as its marine foods , fishes . lobsters . cabs which can be cooked in different ways .
