Owasso is in the Green Country region of Oklahoma. Owasso's existence owes itself mostly to the construction of Tulsa International Airport, from which it sprang up around.Get around
Owasso has had better planning than Tulsa or Broken Arrow. It is also spread out like most Great Plains cities. Your best option is to go by car or bicycle. Tulsa Transit Buses are slowly but surely making their way to Owasso and the city is going to definitely need them.

Oklahoma Weather is very harsh on road conditions and road repairs are needed on an almost yearly basis here. Please be prepared to slow down or stop for road workers as fines double for accidents in work zones as specified by Oklahoma State Law.
