Pingshan is a distant outlying county, in the northwest corner of the prefecture administered by Shijizhuang. The county is attracting regional tourist inflows with the development of the resort of Hongya Valley, centered on the star attraction of the world's longest glass bridge.

Hongya Valley
Glass bridgeThe world's longest bridge is 488 meters in span and quite an impressive engineering marvel. It opened at the end of 2017 and overtook the 440 meter glass bridge at Zhangjiajie in Hunan, however the view is nowhere near as marvelous.
Ice waterfallsDuring winter, there is a small area of ice waterfalls. Although not as spectacular at the Longju Icefall near Baoding.

White DeerHot springs. Beautiful and huge outdoor and indoor pools but lousy steam rooms. It's around 200RMB for the day. Bring your sunscreen.
