Quechee

Despite being rural, Quechee is shockingly close to some (relatively) major population centers in Vermont.

By car

Quechee is located along US-4 near White River Junction and between that town and Rutland.

By train

The nearest Amtrak station is in White River Junction, though there's another one in Rutland, too. You'll be on your own for getting to Quechee itself, however.

  Standing on the bridge, peer over into the gorge below. Pullover spots have been designated near the bridge so you can park and then walk on without disturbing traffic.

  High quality-glass works, based off a workshop in Ireland, but expensive, with even the seconds costing around $150 for a small piece. However, you can go downstairs to watch the glass-blowing, and this is free with no obligation to buy. Clear glass only, no colors.
