Spruce Grove is west of Edmonton, take Highway 16 (Yellowhead Highway) or Highway 16A. Highway 16 is a controlled access highway and passes along the northern city boundary, take exits 360 or 363.From the west, both highways pass through Spruce Grove from Edson, Hinton, and eventually Jasper.
By bus
Edmonton Transit System offers three commuter transit routes into Spruce Grove from Edmonton on weekends, but only in early morning and afternoons (adult fare $6.25, April 2018).

Most major roads aside from Highway 16A or the Yellowhead Highway are four-lane roads, either divided or not. The downtown (City Centre) follows a rough grid, with streets slightly curved in line with Highway 16A and the Canadian National (CN) line through town. Spruce Grove Grain Elevator Museum
phone: +1 780-960-4600Built in 1958, the Grain Elevator was in operation until 1995 when it was due to be demolished. Ag Society volunteers stepped in and prevented the demolition. It is now maintained as an operating museum. It is the last remaining wooden Grain Elevator on the CN Rail line west of Edmonton. Wheelchair accessible. You must call to arrange a tour.
