Understand
Located at the eastern end of the Danube Delta, very close to the Black Sea coast, Sulina is a good location for tourists that want to combine exploring the Delta with spending some time on a quiet beach.
Get in
The only practical way to reach Sulina is by boat. There are daily ferries from Tulcea, with travel times ranging between 1½ and 4 hours. Most of them leave at around 1:30PM in the summer. See Navrom Delta for the boat schedule. There are two fast ferries and one slow ferry leaving Sulina daily between 7 and 8AM to Tulcea.
From Bucharest, take the 7AM departure from the bus station at 242 calea plevenei, or the 05:18 train from Bucuresti Nord.

- Casu Nicushor Fifth Street no.14 (Strada a V-a nr. 14). The owner doesn't speak any English but his son does. About €13 per person. They also offer tours of the delta.
