Surul is a town in Birbhum district of West Bengal.

It is about 3 km from Santiniketan and is near Sriniketan. It is at the crossing of the highway from Ilambazar to Bolpur and the road to Santiniketan-Sriniketan. The market at the crossing is Surul Bazaar.
The Rajbari is 5 minutes walk from the crossing/ bazaar. The small temples with terracotta carvings are to the left of the Rajbari as one faces the Rajbari.
