Szczawnica-Zdrój

From Kraków by bus from the regional bus station (MDA). There generally are buses every two hours, and it takes around two and a half hours to get to Szczawnica. Usually a change in Nowy Targ will be necessary. From Nowy Targ buses cost approximately 8 zł one way.
Alternatively you can get by train to Nowy Sącz or Nowy Targ and then by bus to Szczawnica.

Lots of places, it's a spa town.

Visit the nearby castles in Niedzica and Czorsztyn.
Go to Slovakia, there is a new educational path through National Park to Lesnica.
