Tatopani

The town has better accommodation options than Kodari. There are hot springs located here which is what the town is named after (Tato is hot, pani is water).

• The hot springs are located near the north end of the village.
• Towards the south of the village there is a shrine with prayer wheel located up the hillside.
• A large landslide at the southern end of the village. The road goes around it, but you can look up the hill and see where it started from.

There are numerous budget places located along the road.

  Located just downhill from the entrance to the hot springs. Rooms overlook the village and the river with Tibet on the other side. Cold showers only. There are Western toilets, all the plumbing leaks however. Beds are hard cotton mattresses, thick blankets for when it gets cold.
