Turgutreis is in the Southern Aegean region of Turkey.
Understand
Turgutreis lies on the western tip of the Bodrum Peninsula, and is the second largest town of it after Bodrum itself. The town is named after the favourite son, Turgut Reis, an Ottoman admiral of the 16th century, better known in the West as Dragut.
