Winslow is a small market town in Buckinghamshire, England. It has about 5,000 inhabitants.Get in
The main road going through Winslow is the A413 which runs though the town from north to south. An off-road cycleway follows the route of the A413 and runs to Buckingham.
Buses are relatively easy to come by with an hourly X60 and 60 service to Buckingham and Aylesbury and less frequent buses to Milton Keynes. The Winslow & District Community Bus provides local links to surrounding towns on specific days.
The new Winslow Railway Station is due to open in 2019 to the north of the town centre.

Get around
It is easiest to walk around Winslow, as it is a small town. There is a taxi service, and the number 50 and 60 buses run through the heart of the town.
See
Winslow Hall is the most famous attraction, on Sheep Street in the south. It is a large mansion overlooking the stunning Buckinghamshire countryside. The old railway station is a site for train fans, and Swanbourne Station (the next stop on the eastbound line) is still more or less intact. You can still see the platforms of Winslow and Winslow Road stations but they are not as well kept.

Do
Winslow has a few sports clubs inside the town, Winslow United Football Club play at Elmfields Gate, as do Winslow Town Cricket Club. Winslow is a haven for cafes with many high quality coffees being served up day after day. Winslow also has many good restaurants, with the Mahabarat being the pick of the bunch. For those people who are religious tourists, why not check out Winslow's three churches, all shrouded in history.

There are many shops in Winslow, all of which sell valuable souvenirs, and many give an indication of the vast history of the town. The south of the High Street is the best for souvenirs, with many good purchases lined up
