By boatThere's a twice-daily car ferry from Varberg in Sweden.
By trainYou can get in by local train from Denmark's second city, Aarhus, which is well connected to the rest of the country.
By carAarhus, about 50 km west, is on Jutland's main north-south highway, E45. From Sweden you can get in by the ferry mentioned above.

Go to the beach. There are great sand beaches in Djursland and all beaches in Denmark are accessible to the public.
